The Egyptian Prime Minister granted Vaccine and Biotechnology City the Golden License

During the celebration, Mr. Hossam Heiba, CEO of The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), stressed that this is part of the State’s efforts to provide more facilities and incentives to encourage local or foreign companies and investors to quickly begin various development projects deserving of obtaining golden licenses.
Mr. Hossam Haiba noted that the Vaccine & Biotechnology City was granted the smart golden license card in accordance with the decrees issued in this regard by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. He also stated that the golden license is a first-of-its-kind experience that represents a whole new stage in terms of enhancing the investment environment by minimizing the usually long processes for getting licenses to begin projects.
It is crucial to note that the golden license covers all aspects of project setup, management, and operation, including construction permits and the allocation of the necessary assets. According to the State’s economic development plan, the license is given to companies developed to establish strategic or national projects that aid in accomplishing the goal of sustainable development.
It is also given to companies developed to establish partnerships between the State, the public sector, or the public business sector in the activities of (public utilities and infrastructure – new and renewable energy – roads and transportation – ports – telecommunications and information technology).
