Held in Cairo under the patronage of <strong>H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi<\/strong>, the event saw VBC&#8217;s pavilion welcome a high-level array of national and international leaders, including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"[li_&amp;]:mb-0 [li_&amp;]:mt-1 [li_&amp;]:gap-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3\">\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">H.E. Prime Minister<strong> Dr. Mostafa Madbouly<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>H.E. Prof. \u0110uro Macut<\/strong>, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, <strong>Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>Dr. Hesham Stait<\/strong>, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Technology Management (UPA)<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy<\/strong>, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA)<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>Dr. Ahmed El-Sobki<\/strong>, Chairman of the Egyptian Healthcare Authority (EHA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Throughout the three days, VBC&#8217;s pavilion served as a hub for continental and global engagement. The City welcomed delegations from leading international and African health organizations, including the <strong>World Health Organization (WHO)<\/strong>,<strong> Gavi<\/strong>,<strong> the Vaccine Alliance<\/strong>,<strong> Africa CDC<\/strong>, and the<strong> International Vaccine Institute (IVI)<\/strong>, as well as the Delegation of the <strong>European Union<\/strong> to Egypt. <strong>VBC<\/strong> was equally honored to receive distinguished African regulators and diplomatic missions, among them the Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority and the ambassadors and representatives of <strong>Rwanda<\/strong>, <strong>Zambia<\/strong>,<strong> Burkina Faso<\/strong>, and <strong>Tanzania<\/strong>, alongside key Egyptian national bodies including VACSERA, the General Military Medical Council, and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce. Across these meetings, discussions centered on technology transfer, local production, pooled procurement, and supply chain integration, as <strong>VBC<\/strong> presented its progress to date, its expanding production capacities, and its integrated infrastructure for the manufacturing of both human and veterinary vaccines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Established by presidential directive in 2021, <strong>VBC<\/strong> reaffirmed its role as a national platform advancing Egypt&#8217;s self-sufficiency in vaccines and biologics.
